Censorship on the Internet

Censorship on the Internet

Censorship by the government is always a danger.

With the FCC gaining more power, the potential  for censorship on the internet has increased dramatically.

Private censorship is something that is normally not discussed because a private entity has the right to set its own rules. However, most people aren’t aware of how Apple, Facebook, Twitter, GoFundMe and others have violated people’s free speech rights, ignoring First Amendment protections. They’re legally able to do so – I wouldn’t try to stop them. But we need to be aware of it, we need to protest it, and we need to see if there are alternatives.

Take a look at the chart developed by the National Religious Broadcasters, and tell me what you think: view here.

Also, have you signed our petition to stop the FCC from controlling the internet? You can do so here. Thanks.
