My Emergency Meeting in Washington DC—Every 30 Minutes a Christian is Murdered

I have been asked by a coalition of Christian organizations and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) to lead an effort to save the Christians in the Middle East from genocide.

Last week my wife Shelly and I flew to Washington DC for a special meeting in the Capitol.

In this meeting, we discussed how Christians are being discriminated against by:

  • The United Nations
  • The State Department
  • The Obama Administration

Sadly, no one is doing anything about it, except for Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.

The House Republican leadership has buried this bill, HR 4017—the Save the Christians from Genocide Act—all while Christians are being tortured and murdered.

Right now, they have nowhere to go, including the refugee camps in the Middle East. Christians in these camps are persecuted or killed. Women are raped, and children are forced into human trafficking. Many of these Christians are even forced to deny their faith in Christ.

Rohrabacher’s bill will allow any Christian to come into the US, after verifiable proof of their belief in Christ, history of a belief in Christ. This bill will grant those Christians emergency refugee status as victims of genocide.

It’s their only hope, their only chance. The Christians are a targeted group, while other refugees are merely caught up in the misery of the massive civil wars tearing up the Middle East right now.

Whether the Obama Administration will say it or not, ISIS has targeted these Christians for termination. That is genocide!

That’s why they need your help.

10,000 Syrian refugees were allowed into this country.

Only 53 were Christians. This is outrageous.

This is unconscionable.

  1. Hi Craig, I’m curious as to how the assessment will prevent imposters here? I’m in agreement to saving Christian people from genocide, but exactly how will jihadists be kept out, especially if lying is justified toward their cause?
I’m not certain, but perhaps Scripture dictates us to take the risk over saving a life of Christ’s family member? I don’t readily have Scripture to back that up. I will certainly keep this in prayer. Will there be a site for dedicated prayer for this? I love Shelly’s prayerfull insights and supplications, would love to see it led by her, perhaps in an interactive web format that is accessible from computer at home?

    1. That is a good point. The bill requires strong vetting. I would encourage you to contact the Congressman’s office:
