It’s an ideological war … and you are the target.
The weapons of this war are words – words that report only one viewpoint and withhold other viewpoints … stories that are selected by media executives for you to hear … and other stories that are deliberately withheld from you.
You don’t have time to read every story from every news outlet … or watch every news program and every news video…
So you select one or two – or perhaps three news sources – and hope you get a complete picture of what’s going on in the world.
But you don’t…
No doubt you’ve heard of Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish environmental activist who recently posted a viral tweet about riding on crowded trains across Germany on her way home from a European climate change conference.
On the other hand, you probably haven’t heard of Boyan Slat – the 23-year-old environmental scientist from the Netherlands – who designed the world’s first ocean plastic cleanup system at the age of 16.
The pro-socialist, biased, agenda-driven media.
Greta Thunberg has been given a platform – by the United Nations and by the biased media – to share her anger, frustration and anxiety about so-called “climate change” with the world.
She is neither a scientist nor an economist. She offers no practical solutions to the economic devastation her ideas to stop global warming would cause.
She has admirable passion … but a wrong thesis…
Yet she has been made into a media star…
A Google search on her name yields about 195 million results.
By contrast, Boyan Slat founded an environmental organization called The Ocean Cleanup to develop advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of discarded plastic.
The second prototype of The Ocean Cleanup Interceptor recently celebrated its first successful recovery of 60 one-cubic-meter bags of plastic from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
Slat’s solution to environmental waste involves no economic destruction…
He has passion comparable to Greta Thunberg … and he has the correct thesis…
But the big-government media isn’t interested…
A Google search on his name yields about 386,000 results.
What a sad and frustrating and scary commentary on the power of the media – both news and social – to control what information you see and hear … and thus, what you think!
Watch this explaining the technology of Boyan Slat’s ocean cleanup system (2 ½ minutes).
Here’s another video report and explanation by Boyan Slat regarding the technical challenges of the cleanup system (about 9 minutes).
